Peanut is a 10-month-old, 35 lb shepherd mix, and is remarkably well-mannered and loyal. He loves other dogs, excels on and off leash, but is suspicious around strangers in the house, showing a fearful anxious side (barking, mild guarding behavior). I'm sadly seeking a new home for him as my house with 4 very social people isn't ideal for his comfort.
Peanut is flexible with walk and meal schedules and loves fetch. He currently wakes up at 7:30 for a walk, and relaxes at home afterwards, happy with play breaks. He's house-trained, handles alone time well, and adores beach outings. He's submissive and friendly with dogs, cautious with indoor strangers but warms up with patience and treats (and tolerates strangers in other environments). He responds well to recall, enjoys car rides, snuggles, and learning tricks.
Ideal for a quieter household, Peanut is great with children and the elderly, and doesn’t chase bikes. He's a loyal, loving companion ready for a safe, loving home.
