My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth: November 6, 2022

Introduction:
Meet Hermann, a charming and vocal feline companion ready to fill your life with conversation and love. Hermann`s big personality and love for both people and food make him an irresistible addition to any home. Despite being a stray with an unknown history, Hermann is sure to bring joy and happiness to his future family.

Personality:
Hermann is a big talker, always ready to engage in a conversation with you. His love for people is matched only by his appreciation for good food. Hermann`s friendly and outgoing nature makes him an ideal companion for those looking for a feline friend with a lot to say. Get ready for endless chats and a heart full of love with Hermann around.

Health Note:
Hermann is FIV positive, which means he has a weakened immune system. However, this should not deter potential adopters. FIV cats can lead happy and healthy lives in a home environment. While they may be more susceptible to minor illnesses, with proper care and attention, FIV-positive cats, like Hermann, can live long and fulfilling lives.

Perfect Companion:
If you`re seeking a loving lap cat with a vibrant personality, Hermann might be the perfect match for you. His FIV status is manageable in a home, and with the right care, he can provide years of companionship and joy.

Adoption Details:
If Hermann sounds like the purr-fect lap cat for you, don`t hesitate to apply online today. The joy and companionship Hermann brings to a home far outweigh any concerns about his health. Applications can be found online at eastshoreha.org, once your application is submitted staff will contact you to arrange your own appointment. Please note we remain by appointment only at this time. Please apply online or call prior to arriving at the shelter. Thank you!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
