My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you like to cuddle? Because you have no choice. There is only cuddle. Helena is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

She is full of love and energy. She loves to play, be it with a toy or to wrestle. When you’re done playing she will immediately lay on the couch with you, on your lap. Or… on top of you staring directly into your soul with the cutest eyes ever.

Helena gets along well with people of all ages, however she really loves children. Helena gets along well with the other dog in her foster home. She plays very well and even likes to cuddle with him.

Helena is such a sweetheart. She will be an incredible family dog, or even just a one person companion. All she wants to do is love and be loved.

Helena is trained and will alert you when she needs to and she listens well.

Helena is about 2 years old and about 50 lbs. Her adoption fee is $200

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

We perform vet and landlord checks if necessary and will contact you if your application is approved.

3.
Meet the Pet

If approved, a volunteer will bring the dog to your home for a meet & greet and home check.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the adoption representative and you agree the dog is a good fit for your family, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the fee.

As a network of foster homes, we do not have a "shelter location". We do hold meet and greet events each month at various locations where you can meet our precious pitties. Otherwise, meet and greets are only available with an approved application and home visit.
