My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charm, a mature feline with a heart as warm as her name suggests. She`s a sweetheart, always ready to share her affection with those around her. Her friendly nature and gentle soul make her the perfect companion. Charm`s curiosity is contagious, igniting a sense of wonder in all she meets. Despite her mellow demeanour, she`s never one to shy away from a good adventure, especially if it involves hind end scratches. Charm`s shyness is merely a mask for her loving personality that unfolds with time. Her gentle purr is a testament to her contentment, making her a calming presence in any home. Charm`s love for exploration and her easy-going nature makes her the perfect addition to any family. Her sweet, friendly demeanor will brighten up your days and fill your home with love. Give Charm a chance, and she`ll charm her way into your heart, offering companionship like no other.

More about this shelter

The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
