Meet Honey Bear, a precious 16 month old, 7 pound Chocolate Yorkie girl being fostered in Weatherford, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
Chocolate Yorkies are born solid brown with tan markings. The Chocolate coloring occurs when both puppy parents carry the recessive Chocolate gene. Chocolate Yorkies are registered with the AKC as having either Brown, Liver, or Chocolate coloring.

Initial Bio 12/21/23: Honey Bear is 16 months old and is so mature for a puppy. There aren't words that can say enough about this sweet baby girl. She was surrendered by a family that wasn't able to care for her; another rescue reached out to us and we are the lucky one to have her. Honey has a very sweet and kind personality. She is great with dogs, children and loves everyone. Great on a leash, does well in the car but hasn't been on too many car rides, has a very favorite squeak ball but her favorite thing is to be with us every minute. Wherever foster mom goes you can be sure when I look around guess who is there.

Oh yes, she is housetrained. She was a little shy about the new yard and her surroundings for the first few days, but she has adjusted beautifully. She will be getting her vaccines and her spay soon.
