Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Phoebe is a beautiful and athletic pitty with this softest blonde fur. She loves attention and will sweetly lay her head on your lap and put one paw on your knee asking for pets. Phoebe quickly made friends with her two doggie foster siblings and will crawl on her belly to play with the smaller dog. Her foster mom thinks it's the cutest. She hasn't been in the house with cats, but she seems a little too eager to meet them when she goes on walks. Phoebe is fantastic in the house; fully potty trained and doesn't mind relaxing in her crate. She loves to cuddle on the couch or bed, but she knows she has to be invited before she jumps up. Phoebe is very treat motivated and sits to take them so gently. She is enjoying trying new pup-safe veggies that her family chops up for dinner.
Phoebe will need patience as she continues to work on her leash manners. She walks well when there are no distractions but will need a strong handler as she can sometimes be reactive. Her foster mom thinks she could make a great jogging buddy when she overcomes that. Phoebe wasn't sure about car rides at first, but she has learned to "load up" and is excited to ride now.
Phoebe strongly dislikes the sounds of loud engines near her (like lawn mowers), so it is important that she not be left alone in the yard when her family is not home.
Phoebe is happy, loving and eager to please. She is ready to find her BFFs!
