Here is some info on Darla:

Darla is an approximately 8 year old, female-spayed, American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is medium-sized and around 45 lbs. Darla was heartworm positive but has been through treatment and currently on heartworm prevention. She is UTD on her vaccines and will be due again July 2024. Although middle-aged, Darla has lots of energy and shows it off with zoomies in the yard. Her playful nature is very entertaining, and she enjoys roughhousing with other dogs her size. (She would need a home without small dogs or cats.) Darla loves her toys and is very gentle with them. She even has a collection of small toys that she treats like puppies - so sweet and endearing! Darla is house trained and crate trained too. She has lots of love to share and is ready for her forever family.

I have been rescuing dogs for over 20 years. We just decided in the last year we would become a full rescue to save and adopt out dogs. We work with local shelters save dogs that go on the list to be euthanized. We also take in strays, owner surrenders, and some farm animals. We have wonderful fosters that help to care for our animals. We do all we can to save and find homes for as many pets as possible.
