My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a sweet Akbash/Pyr mix, who is protective of his person, and has the typical Pyr attitude.

He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs 102 pounds.

Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though would probably do best as an only dog.

Charley very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun.

He loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs.

Charlie is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!!

Submit Application

We ask for an application to be submitted. prior to meeting the animal you are intersted in.

2.
Home Check

We verify vet references and do a home visit, prior to approving and finalizing an adoption.

3.
Approve Application

Once you are approved, the adoption agreement will be signed and the adoption application will be paid.

Additional adoption info

An adoption application must be filled out, prior to adoption, and a home visit is required. Once a potential adopter is approved, an adoption contract is required. We do not ship or transport our animals.

Our rescue animals are housed in foster homes, until adopted. We partner with local businesses, to hold adoption events, where you can come meet our available animals, looking for forever homes.
