Rescue Story
I wasn't always living the doggy dream, but thanks to the kind hearts at the rescue, my tale took a turn for the better. I was rescued from an animal hoarder who didn't give me the care and love I needed. Despite my rough start, I've been spayed and now I'm on the path to a happier, healthier life.
About Him/Her
I may be a bit shy at first, especially with new faces, but don't let that fool you—I'm a sweetheart at heart. Initially, I might retreat or hide when guests arrive, but once I feel comfortable, I'll emerge, wagging my tail, ready for some gentle pets.
I'm still a puppy, and while I'm not a high-energy dog, I do enjoy a good stroll outdoors. A 30-minute walk is the perfect amount of exercise for me, and after that, I'm more than happy to snuggle up at home. I'm learning the ropes of walking with my humans, so be patient with me as I perfect my technique.
I'm a curious canine with a nose for adventure! I absolutely adore sniffing around outdoors, exploring all the fascinating scents the world has to offer. Despite my past, I'm playful and love engaging in gentle, fun activities.
Here's a fun fact about me – I have an extra toe, giving me a total of 6 toes! It just adds to my unique charm and makes me stand out in the crowd.
I may be a bit hesitant to take treats directly from your hand initially, as my past experiences weren't always positive. However, as I grow more comfortable and trusting, I'm sure to learn quickly that treats mean love and kindness.
I'm searching for a patient and understanding family who can give me the love and stability I deserve. If you have a gentle touch, a cozy home, and a willingness to help me continue my journey to becoming a confident, happy dog, then we might be the perfect match!
