Hey! Anyone out there a sucker for Roses? Well I have good news for you! This beautiful Rose is looking for a home to call her own! I was surrendered to the shelter for being nippy with the kids in my previous home, so the landlord made my owners give me up. As sad as that situation was, I am trying to stay my happy self and look to the future! I am such a sweet girl with people, but little kids can be too much for me, so I need a home with older, respectful kids that can give me space when I need it. The shelter environment stresses me out because I do not get along with other dogs. Because of this, I need a home without any other dogs. I also don't get along with cats. There may be stipulations in the kind of home I need, but I promise you that I will repay you with so much love! I am a fantastic walker, I love to snuggle up, and I am so smart! HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
