Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Sunkist, a pup with a heart as bright as my name suggests. I hail from the Redlands, where I've had my fair share of ups and downs. See, I'm a bit barrier reactive and can be pushy with other dogs, though I do better in playgroups. Unfortunately, my past hasn't been easy-I've had three adopters who didn't quite understand me. That's why I think I'll do best in a single dog home with older kids who can appreciate my quirks. I'm a foodie through and through, and I've mastered the art of sitting on command. Water? Count me in for a splash! But I've got a high energy level, and too much forward energy from people can make me uneasy due to past trauma. With a little patience and understanding, though, I know I'll blossom into the perfect companion. So, ready to give me the chance I deserve?

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
