What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We found Dottsy B. Starving and darting in and out of a busy intersection on Dec. 23, 2023. We took her to the vet and got her shots, flea and tick medicine, and heartworm meds. She will need to continue being treated for heartworms for 2-3 more months. . She has had a very hard start to life and was pitiful when we found her. She has put on several pounds since we have had her. Our two year old dog is very territorial and has fought her a few times so we are keeping them separated for now. Dottsy loves people!! Big lap dog and she loves treats and food! Now that she has been inside she doesn’t seem to want to spend a lot of time outside. She loves her cozy bed and blankets. She is about 55 pounds now. We have all her vet records we can give an adopter. She is precious and grunts like a pig when she is cozy and relaxed. I think a home with no kids or older kids would be best! She would also love (and need) to be your only pet! Please love her and send us updates!
