Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ollie is an 11-month-old, 35-pound dog with a heart full of love and resilience. After being bitten on the head as an infant, he required bottle feeding, which has shaped his gentle nature and friendly disposition. Although he is blind in his left eye, this does not hinder his spirit; he joyfully expresses his excitement by doing circles instead of the typical zoomies. A dog-friendly and kid-friendly companion, Ollie is eager to share his big heart with a forever family. He patiently awaits someone to take a chance on him, ready to bring joy and companionship into their lives.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.

We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

Go meet their pets

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

The Hill Country SPCA was chartered as a 501(c) (3) non profit organization in the state of Texas in October, 1997. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events. We are not supported by tax dollars.
