Ollie is a sweet 9-month-old medium mixed breed with a special story. After suffering a skull fracture from his biological mother at just 3 weeks old, he now lives with blindness in his left eye and has a unique way of expressing his excitement by spinning in circles. Despite his challenges, Ollie loves everyone he meets, including children, and has shown good behavior with cats in his foster home. He would thrive best in a smaller pack of dogs, as he can become easily excited. By giving Ollie a second chance at life, you will not only enrich your home but also experience the joy of loving a special needs dog who deserves all the affection and care he has always wanted.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.

We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

Go meet their pets

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

The Hill Country SPCA was chartered as a 501(c) (3) non profit organization in the state of Texas in October, 1997. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events. We are not supported by tax dollars.
