`You`re never fully dressed without a smile.` ~ Love, Montana
Despite the noise and chaos of the shelter, Montana is often spotted snoozing on the bed in her kennel. We suspect that she is deaf or nearly-deaf.
Volunteers have noted that Montana loves getting out for walks and smiles along the way. Despite having a fuller figure, she has a fun and playful spunk.
Because she`s such a good girl, Montana recently got to spend a day outside of the shelter as part of our Dog for the Day (DFTD) program. She got rave reviews and we learned: - Montana enjoyed meeting men and women on her outing - Montana did well on her car ride - Montana did not have any potty accidents - Montana was well behaved and didn`t jump or bark - Montana is a medium energy girl that likes to alternate rest and play (and `fanny wubs`)
Montana has done well meeting other dogs and might enjoy a canine companion in her new home.
Dogs that are missing one of their senses are often more stressed in the shelter environment. We`d love to get Montana adopted or into a foster home soon. Come meet her today!
