My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have the second of our "chain gang dogs" available. Zander came to us with Milo on Thanksgiving when Law Enforcement helped to release him from his chain. He arrived to Tillamook K9 Rescue as a skinny guy that could not be happier to be showered with love and attention. He loves nothing more than being with his people leaning all of his 68 pounds to show you how grateful he is to be off his chain. We believe he is an Anatolian Shepherd Lab mix, we know he is 100% ham. We are guessing he is about 5 to 6 years old but it is hard to say. He seems to like other dogs as long as they are not overbearing, he has had some reactions to other male dogs. He has no idea how to play. He does love to run the fenceline with Axel.
Zander was in a foster home for a bit after his neuter so we know a lot about him. He is fine with cats and even babysat the foster kittens. He will smile when he is overly proud of himself. He is mostly house trained and as long as you take him out regularly he will be a good boy.
We are working on not jumping up on people. He is easily corrected. We think he will continue to blossom in a home that is willing to show him patience and love.
