Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Axel is a young boy found running off Highway 101 with his sister Tobie. When he got to us, he was like most street urchins, not knowing where his next meal would come from. He was underweight and is rather small for a shepherd. We believe he is about 6-9 months old. He is a young boy that is ready to learn and treat motivated. He needs consistency and patience but with someone willing to work with him he is going to be a fantastic dog. He does great with other dogs and is a beta male. He would love a pack of his own to show him how to dog.
At the shelter he is learning to walk on a leash, we are working on sitting, and learning how to play. He was very attached to his sister Tobie when he arrived. We have separated them to gain additional trust and encourage their independence. Tobie has since been adopted and Axel wants a pack of his very own.
