My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie is a big ball of energy with a lot of love to give. She is equal parts energizer bunny and snuggle bug. She loves to chase around the other kittens and wrestle with resident dog at her foster home. She needs to go to a home with her best friend Sugar as both are super playful and love each other very much. She also loves to cuddle if it’s in your lap as you work or on your chest as you sleep. She's a quirky little gal just full of personality. Bonnie was born around 9/11/2023.

Additional adoption info

Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.

All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.

More about this rescue

Anjellicle Cats Rescue is an all-volunteer registered 501c3 cat rescue committed to helping make New York a no-kill city. As one of the most active cat rescues in the 5 boroughs, ACR is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out homeless cats and kittens, many of which are sick, injured or dismissed as unadoptable. Through a coalition of volunteer advocates and caregivers, each rescued cat is welcomed with kindness and medical care into a foster home with the goal of adoption into a permanent, loving home.
