My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kirby was found by a good samaritan while walking her dog. The tiny pup followed her home and sat in front of her gate. He was not chipped, so she depended on different portals to find his owner. When no one claimed him after a week, she surrendered him to our rescue.

When we got him he was in a bad shape, with matted fur, and overgrown nails. He was scared and shy. But after being in foster home for a few days, he turned into a playful pup, who just loves to be held, and wants to sleep right next to you.

Kirby is a very velcro pup, who has not barked since we got him. He loves being around his human. Even though he is scared of strangers, he lets everyone pet him. He is very sweet and calm pup.

Kirby is about 18 months, 4 lb, neutered, up-to-date on all of his medical care and vaccinations. He's currently on monthly heartworm and flea preventative.

Kirby is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to many states and even Canada.
