Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ranger is a very personable confident guy! And, a joy to be around. Sadly he found himself homeless when his family moved and left him and other dogs and cats behind.
In spite of his being abandoned, we are glad that Ranger is a very adaptable little fellow, and incorporated himself into his foster family as if he was a long lost friend! Ranger has proven to be great with all dogs, male and female, in his foster home. We are told he has lived with cats previously but because his foster does not have cats, we have not seen this ourselves.
Ranger is believed to be a Beagle – Black Lab Mix, about 7 years old, and estimated at 32 lbs.
Among Ranger’s favorite activities are napping, hanging out with his dog friends, walking around the secure fenced yard at his foster home, and occasionally playing with toys. An ideal family for Ranger is one who will allow him to enjoy his favorite activities….and would definitely nclude another canine friend or two…he just LOVES other dogs!
We expect Ranger to be ok with children over the age of 6 years, but he enjoys being in an all-adult home too…as long as he gets the attention he deserves.
Ranger is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round prevention, neutered and microchipped. In his foster home, Ranger has shown himself to be housebroken. It is important to note for any dog….he/she should not be forced to “hold it” for more than 6 hours at any time.
