More about this rescue

POLA Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 organization that was formed in late 2016 to provide medical care to stray, dumped, street dogs and otherwise unadoptable companion animals who need medical care and support to live.
Our purpose is to help sick and injured pets recover by helping them receive urgent medical attention so that they can then be healthy and adopted to a loving family.
Our mission is, through unpaid volunteers, to acquire medical attention for needy animals, to promote spay and neuter programs and to facilitate outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals throughout Northwest Louisiana. This includes actively working to change the animal cruelty laws and penalties in Louisiana. Our animals shouldn't be considered "property," and our state is sorely lacking in punishment and penalties for abusers. Together, we can change this.
"Don't just be their voice, Be the change"
