My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HHey! Hi there, my name is Cruise. I am so happy you came by. Wanna play? Although I have lots of energy, I am told I’m such a good, sweet boy. I am a lover boy. I love people and I love other dogs to play with, once I get over my extreme excitement of seeing and meeting another dog that might want to play with me. I love to go for walks, but I am still learning that I shouldn’t pull. With the right human and training, I know I will figure it out. My foster Mom says I’m the best, sweetest boy. I had an injury and I have to keep up with my exercise to make sure I stay healthy. My foster Mom says the exercises are easy. I think we are just playing games when we do them. Due to my injury, the Dogtor says living on a farm is not for me. I know Sit, Down, and Bed commands. I do come when I’m called most of the time too. Although I would love a dog friend that can handle my high energy and goofiness, with the right human, I know I would be a great only dog companion as well. I can’t wait to see if we will be best friends.
Love, Cruise

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption application process , which includes a home visit, help us to ensure we find wonderful, permanent loving and caring families for each one of our dogs. We feel that honesty is the best policy when it comes to finding homes for our dogs; we want to avoid any unfortunate surprises after you bring your new friend home. After all, we are looking for a BEDR life for our dogs! There is an online adoption application that must be filled completed before a home visit will be set up. The application can be found on our website,

We are entirely foster-home based; we do not have a shelter facility. We do have adoption events regularly at pet stores and other locations in Regina and Southern Saskatchewan for upcoming events check out the events on our website or Facebook page.

More about this rescue

PLEASE USE APPLICATION LINK ABOVE, NOT EMAIL!

We are a registered charitable NO KILL Rescue, located in Regina, SK, Canada dedicated to helping dogs that have fallen on hard times (homeless, abandoned and in some cases, surrendered). With the help of dedicated volunteer foster families, our dogs live as part of the family while they are in foster care right up until they move in with their new family. We strive to help with the over-population of pets by making sure each and every puppy*, adolescent and adult dog is spayed/neutered. (*Note: sterilization of puppies is the owner's responsibility and proof of sterilization must be shown at 6 months of age.)
