My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maverick

Meet Maverick! He is one handsome guy with his sleek black fur, big yellow eyes, and stylish white patch on his chest. This sweetie is all about love. He is very friendly and loving and adores affection from his humans. He gets along great with dogs but likes his space when it comes to other cats. Maverick is about 2 years old and he is looking for a family that will shower him with attention and cuddles. How can anyone resist that face? Apply now to welcome Maverick into your home!

Maverick is positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) but don’t let that keep you from adopting him! FIV positive cats can live with other kitties as long as they do well with one another. FIV is only passed from cat to cat by deep bite wounds. Casual contact and sharing a household poses no risk.

More about this rescue

We are Ninth Life Rescue Center. A foster based, all volunteer, no kill rescue. We take a lot of the harder to adopt/ problem animals that other rescues turn away and put the effort, time, and care into making them into the best success stories.
