Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Moses!
Hey all! My name is Moses, and I'm just a youngster! I was born on Jan 21, 2023, and made my way up to Wisconsin to find my forever home. I'm about 50 pounds, but I still have a little filling out to do. I'm an all-around good boy, but I still need a little help from my humans with some things. We'll get to that shortly, but don't worry, it's nothing terrible. Let's start off with me needing to be an only dog. I'm not a fan of having to share my indoor space with other doggos, but I do fine with cats. I'm a little shy of new situations, so I just need a little guidance, and for my family to show me everything is okay. Chaos makes me a bit shy right now, but with time and patience it probably won't be so scary for me. I would do okay with teen kiddos who understand what I'll need from them in order for me to feel comfortable. I'm a good boy and do all my pottying outside. I'll either need a tall fence because I can jump high, or I'll need to be on a tie out or leash when outside. I don't know that I should stay by my humans just yet, and I don't want to get lost!
Once I get to know my humans, I really like to be able to be with them! If I can't see them or be near them, I will voice my displeasure with it, so I should only live in a single family house. I'm getting better with this at my foster home, so something like this might only last until I know that I'm home for good. I don't destroy things, so I don't have to be in a crate, but if you need me to, I will with treats. Speaking of treats, I take them gently and take my time eating them. I like to savor the goodness! But I'd really rather eat my meals by myself because I don't want to share my food with others, or even think about them possibly taking my food. I'd love to be able to take walks with my humans or go on car rides with them, both of which I'm a Rockstar at! I'd love to start my year off right and find my forever home where my humans will help me be my best self for them! I'm a super smart boy and willing to learn all the things you want to teach me! Are you ready to add the handsomest boy to your home?
*Moses is being fostered in the Rhinelander area.
