My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maui the beautiful, sweet Dane was found in the backyard of a person with 5 dogs tied up in TJ.
He was starving and very skinny.

The vet tech offered to take him to the US to get him healthy, and the owner gave him up freely.
He was 10 months old then, born 2022-12-28. Now he is just over a year old and up to date on all his shots plus Bravecto treatment. We will arrange for neutering.

Maui is a smart dog. He learned to sit quickly, and we are working on walking calmly beside me on a
lead. He loves to run, and he sticks around his person. He is loyal, trusting, and loving. He gets along with other dogs once he does a meet and greet. If you want him to sleep in bed with you he takes up most of the bed. LOL

He would love to devote himself to a person or family. He needs attention and love. You will get
that back from him 10 fold.

I would keep him if I didn’t already have 3 big dogs.
He needs to be introduced to strangers,
Maui loves to play tug of war with the leash. He can jump over the other dogs. He will need some training, We are working on not jumping up on people. He is crate trained.


This will be a private adoption, not through a rescue but a rescue group will help approve a home that will be a fit for Maui.
Maui is located in Ramona, CA in San Diego County.
