Katie is a great family dog but requires more attention than we can provide her right now as kids are at college and work prohibits us from being with her. She likes to cuddle in a blanket with people. She likes short walks when possible but doesn't go as long as she used to.
We took her in at approximately 8 years old after my wife's aunt had to go into a nursing home. Katie has anxiety when she is not with people. She is crated every day while we are at work. She is potty-trained but now can't hold it for very long so will go in her crate while we're gone and also usually wakes us up to go out every night.
After a few years of her being alone most of the time due to our schedules and the fact that she needs the attention at night being taken out we would like to find a new home for her where she can be with someone full time.
