Meet Cheer Bear!
Cheer Bear and her littermates came to PAWS as older puppies, shy and under-socialized. Unfortunately, they've often been overlooked, and after spending a year in the shelter, it broke our hearts to see her still waiting for a home. But Cheer Bear's story is changing! She's now in a foster home, thriving and discovering life beyond the shelter.
Living with another dog has been a game-changer for Cheer Bear-she's building confidence every day and loves playing with her canine foster sibling. Playtime in the backyard, head scratches, and chew toys are some of her favorite things. While she's still shy and cautious around new people and situations, she's also curious and working hard to push past her fears. In fact, she'll follow her foster mom from room to room like a little shadow!
Cheer Bear sleeps through the night in her crate but may need some extra attention during the day as she's still learning to be comfortable when left alone. She's making great progress with house training and responds well to positive reinforcement.
Cheer Bear would do best in a home with another dog, as she gains confidence from having a canine buddy around. With patience, love, and time, Cheer Bear will blossom into the loyal and loving companion you've been looking for. If you'd like to meet her, we'd be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with her foster family. Could you be the one to give Cheer Bear her happy ending?
Put in an application to meet Cheer Bear today and see how special she is!
