Meet Yoko, a very sweet, caring, and loving dog! She recently spent some time in a foster home and her foster had nothing but great things to share about her. He says she embodies the perfect balance of energy and relaxation for any household. Some of her favorite things to do include going for a walk (especially on the Atlanta Beltline), playing with tennis balls, as well as engaging in a game of fetch. When inside, she likes to follow you around the house to see what you are up to. Additionally, she loves to cuddle and be petted endlessly, because she can never have too much of you. However, she understands boundaries once you have set them for her.
Surprisingly, Yoko does not bark. If she does, it is exceptionally rare. Whether or not she is outside playing or in the house relaxing, she remains very quiet. This is especially convenient when living in an apartment complex with neighbors. Yoko is potty-trained, but because she does not let you know through barking, you must make sure to take her out at the appropriate times. She is also crate-trained and has no problems going in her crate when requested to do so. Yoko knows several basic commands such as "sit, "stay, "paw/give me paw, "leave it/drop it, "down, "up, "no, "okay, and "get back. She's such a smart girl!
Yoko is an all-around extremely people-friendly dog. She really enjoys being around people and making new human friends. Although Yoko is very pleasant and sociable with people, she does not enjoy sharing space with other dogs. The foster worked with her on passing by them in public spaces, but expressed that it is always a good idea to give some extra space when furry friends are nearby. Furthermore, Yoko would do well being the only pet in the house. Overall, she is a very special girl looking to share her love with you, your friends, and family.
