We adopted Whiskers from the Buncombe County Humane Society and have had her for almost 2 years. Whiskers loves our dog (pictured) and is very good with our son. She loves to curl up on her cat condo or a lap for chin scratches. While Whiskers was very shy at first once she is comfortable she will curl up on your lap, purr and make biscuits. She is a social cat and likes to be around others (although I am not sure about other cats, however she was at the shelter with her siblings). Due to our busy schedules she is often alone for long periods of time and this has caused her some anxiety and stress. Whiskers likes to explore outside for short periods of time and does not venture far from home (she may be happy as a solely indoor cat as well). She would be a great additon to a family that has the time and patience for her to warm up to you and that is often home so that she can feel safe and secure.
