Pecan is a sweet 1 year old boy with a gorgeous tricolor coat. He is curious, but a bit shy. He`d love to find a forever home to come out of his shell in! He`s been living with other male guinea pigs and hopes to go home to or with a guinea pig buddy.
Like any pet, guinea pigs require a lot of care and attention. It is important to familiarize yourself with their daily and long-term needs before adopting a new pig. Since guinea pigs are prey animals, they`ll need a little extra time and patience adjusting to their surroundings before their unique personalities can truly shine! Guinea pigs are talkative and clever, and make wonderful companions when they`ve bonded with you!
In order to adopt, we will need to approve a photo of the enclosure Pecan will be living in before you take them home.
Pecan has been seen by our vet team.
For more information on Pecan or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please feel free to stop by one of our Animal Care and Adoption Center locations during open hours or call us at 617-426-9170.
