Meet Rocky!

Calling all wrinkle lovers! My name is Rocky, like Rocky Balboa, but not a fighter. Actually, the exact opposite, very loyal and sweet! I'm a young adult, weighing in at 45 pounds. I get along with other dogs that are about my speed. My style of play is a little more rough and tumble than others, and sometimes I use my mouth in my playing antics, but I'm never mean about it and don't mean any harm, so teenaged kiddos and older would be best for me, so no one gets the wrong idea when playing with me. I'm a real good listener and am redirected easily, I just have never been taught that using my mouth to play isn't desirable. I'm not sure how I would do with cats since I have never met them, but for the right people, we could arrange a meeting. I go outside to go potty, and if you need me to go in a kennel, I will, though I'm not super fond of the idea.

I'm a bit shy around new people and fur friends at first, so I like the motto of slow and steady wins the race. I'm super smart and know basic commands and will alert you to the activities outside. I'm a bit nervous with new things happening, and my reaction is to run, so though I love walks, please make sure I have a martingale collar on so I don't get away. I'll also need a fenced in yard to ensure my safety. Along with being loyal comes devotion and excitement to see my humans when they come home from work. I'll jump and dance and show you how happy I am to see you! I'm hoping that someone who is willing to show me that the new things in the world that I come across aren't as scary as they seem! Maybe you can be that person for me?
