What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Finn appeared as a kitten on our porch 4 years ago because he came out of the forest where there are feral strays. Finn loves to cuddle on your lap or sleep in your bed by your feet. He is affectionate, playful, and smart. He enjoys running after the laser light toy and he likes to climb the cat towers, use the scratching posts, and carry his toys around because he is active and likes to play. To help avoid damage to our furniture, we clip the tips off of his nails on all 4 paws every other week. We brush him out and give him treats after. Our family loves him and we want to keep him, but we know it would be best for him to go to a kind and caring home with no other cats or dogs. Because he is a larger dominant male, he often chases our other 3 cats. This causes them to be afraid of the litter boxes and food bowls. He also chases and tries to scratch our adopted dog. For these reasons we know Finn would thrive in a home with no other pets and with an owner who wants a cat to cuddle.
