Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky is a 12 year old (born approximately 8/1/2011) front declawed handsome orange tabby with very cute freckles on his nose. He received his name after being lucky enough to be rescued as a young kitten from an unfortunate situation. He has lived a great life with the family that rescued him but he is now looking for a new home to live out his retirement years due to allergies in a home where his family member is moving so Lucky can’t follow her to the new place.
Lucky enjoys being around people and he will sit on the back of the couch when you’re watching TV or will sit on your desk and help you work. He may be shy around visitors that he doesn’t see often but for someone that he sees regularly, he will happily greet them at the door. He enjoys being brushed, particularly around his head. Just like all Reuben’s Room cats, Lucky must be indoor only.
He is a pro at sleeping several hours a day and can easily find many favorite spots to nap. At night, he will happily sleep on your bed if you let him when he isn’t prowling the house making sure everything is safe for his family. When he is feeling perky, he enjoys toys to bat around and swinging at wand toys. He also is a good TV watcher and may want to touch a laptop or tablet screen for fun to help you send an email or find something on the Internet.
Lucky is usually a very quiet cat but he does have a loud purr which is fun to hear. He has always been an only cat so we don’t know for certain how he would be with another cat but he has lived with dogs his entire life. He gets along with smaller/medium size dogs very well and even shared a dog bed with his former dog sister and enjoyed playing with her. He also does well with children as long as they understand proper cat boundaries. If they move faster than he would like, he will just move to a quieter spot and has never been aggressive.
Can you provide a loving home for this friendly handsome boy?
