My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Sammy! I’m a super sweet and loving 8 year old cattle dog mix. My mom adopted me from Pasco County Animal Services in May and found me to be a bit too strong for her to walk as she’s recently had changes in her health. I love to be outside and go on long walks, and would love a yard to run around in!

I also love meeting new friends, but I never jump up on them, and I barely ever bark. I get along really well with my smaller foster dog brothers and sister, and my teenage human foster brothers. I’ve seen some cats in my neighborhood before, and I haven’t run after them, but I haven’t been very close to them, either.

I love playing with my squeaky toys and snuggling with all of my foster siblings. Being snuggled and pet is one of my very favorite things. I’m really good at listening when you ask me to sit and stay too. :)

I’m neutered and up to date on all of my vaccinations, and I weigh about 50 pounds. I’m looking forward to finding my forever home.
