Take the Pet Home
Hamilton is a friendly, curious, talkative companion. He does enjoy other cats, but other cats may not appreciate his antics. Therefore, he may be best as an only cat. However, he is currently in a foster home with 4 resident cats. One will wrestle with him, and come back for more. The other 3 are tolerant but prefer to not be bothered by him. But sometimes there is a lot of running around. If in a home with others, they should not be left unattended all day. So having someone to monitor the situation most of the day is preferable.
Hamilton does love stimulation, so if an only cat, there should be plenty of that for him. We do not know how he is with dogs.
A patio, or screened-in porch is a plus but not a requirement. However, access to fresh air on window sills when weather permits is very much appreciated by Hamilton. He also loves to watch birds out the windows. Please check out his sort video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ZVjhlAa6YpQ .
Hamilton is FIV+, but that is no big deal. He can safely live with other animals and has been very healthy. Please check out the quick facts sheet about FIV+ cats. He does not seem to be a lap cat. But he does lay next to his foster mom occasionally. He enjoys being pet and getting his head scratched. He can be picked up, but he may complain a bit about that.
Hamilton should be with an experienced cat owner and would be best in a home without small children.
Hamilton especially loves to play with wand toys and likes tunnels. He is estimated to be about 1-2 yrs old and currently weighs 12 lbs. It's lean muscle, because he gets lots of exercise getting zoomies around the house. He loves to eat and does not seem to be picky. Hamilton is FIV+.
Hamilton is playing with his foster family. He is a really nice cat and is hoping you will ask to meet him. Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Thank you! (Foster: Jan R.)

An approved app is needed to meet cats that are with fosters & those that are in our clinic/shelters, but not to meet adoption center cats.
Sign Adoption Contract
The adoption counselor will review the paperwork and the medical form with the adopter. This is a good time to ask questions before signing.
Pay Fee
