Here's what the humans have to say about me:
(We have a transport/trip to Northern California on 1/20/23 and would love to add our last available boy to our route if we manage to secure the perfect family for him! We do divide transport costs between all adopters in route to help aleviate the total cost.
We took in 3 brothers named Bennet, Thomis, and Stanley. (Thomis and Stanley have been adopted!)
Bennet is the only one available!
Bennet was born on 9/18/23.
He had his exam on 12/18/23 and has been cleared to find a home all of his own.
At the time of their exam Bennet weighed 16.2 lbs. He is expected to be around 50 lbs full grown.
He has had 4 sets of da2pp, bordatella, and his 1 year rabies vaccine. He is micorchipped, and has been dewormed through our vet. We also sent out a fecal sample to the lab to check for any additional parasites that came back negative. Our vet is also sending home a health certificate for Bennet as his physical exam went great.
Yes, all vet records will go home with his new family.
He will be going home on a neuter contract as he is much to young to fix, and it's best for him to fully mature before sterilization.
He is pad trained, and has officially begun the process of house training which he is doing wonderful at. House training will need to be continued in his next home, but the concept is currently being instilled and worked with dailly. At night he sleeps in his crate which has also been going great as we introduced that to him since he came into us a month ago so it's been a successful process. leash training has begun around our property which he is doing very well with! He is very smart and catches on quickly!
He is very sweet, outgoing, loving, playful, and ready to take on the world! He just needs someone to lead the way from here ❤️ He has been loved immensely prior to coming to us, and we had no problem taking over and loving him the same.
Their prior owners had a sudden death in the family leaving them scrambling to catch their own breath and knew that these boys needed someone else to take over to ensure the best possible life for each of them so they reached out to us to take them in and find them exactly what they deserved. In turn we did fix both parents for them to ensure they didn't have to worry about anymore litters from happening and could focus on their family matters without delay.
Bennet's adoption fee is broken down on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org.
It covers his individual vet costs, time and care since with us, and his training and socialization we have been working on since day one of his arrival. It also contributes to his parents spay/neuter as they remained with their owners, and only the three boys came to us.
Do not pass on out last sweet boy! He is going to make a wonderful companion to one very special family!
