Tommy is a warrior in his own right, rocking the FIV/FeLV positive badge with style. Tommy is a bit shy at first since he doesn't trust strangers (his parents taught him that I'm sure ). But don't let that fool you; he's a bundle of love and playfulness just waiting to charm his way into your heart. Tommy is here to defy the stigma surrounding FIV/FeLV, showcasing his robust health and radiating love as a testament to the many hopeful good years ahead of this resilient hunk of feline! ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.
Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. More about this rescue
We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
