My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi there, my name is Minnie!!

I am a sweet girl who may be small in stature, but I have mountains of love to give.  I am a very affectionate girl and love to cuddle and give lots of kisses. I am told all the time what a gorgeous wrinkly-faced, pity mix lady I am. I think I’m the exact definition of a lap dog, I hope you feel the same way.  I love meeting new people and will quickly show off my belly for rubs, which is one of my favorite things! I am currently living with two foster dog-siblings and love to play with them. I am house-trained. I love those things they call treats, and I am highly food motivated, making training me so much easier, as I will do anything for a treat!!  I know  basic commands and I respond well to my name.  My foster Mom says I am the sweetest and most loving pup around, do you want to meet me and see? I am hoping for a home that will let me be the most snuggly lap-pup that I was certainly born to be. The best forever home for me would probably be one with another pup, since I love to play, but of course would require a proper warm-up/meet and greet to be sure that we can be the best playmates ever.

If you are interested in meeting me and getting in some cuddles, please apply for me today @BuffaloCares.org, I will be waiting for you!

Hugs and kisses, Minnie!

Adoption Fee $425     Someone who loves me so much but can’t have me sponsored part of my adoption fee so my adopter only has to pay an $250 towards my adoption fee

The Adoption process:
*Submit your online adoption application
* If you already have pets in your home, they must be up to date on their vaccinations.
*Once the reference & vet checks are complete and approved, we will be in contact to schedule a home visit and/or meet & greet with the animal you are interested in. All members of the family including any current pets must be present.
*Based on your references, home visit and meet & greet, we will approve or deny your application to adopt or recommend a different animal who may be a better fit for your home.
*If approved, we will set up a date for you to adopt your new companion animal. If an animal is not yet spayed/neutered, we will set up your adoption for a time after they have been altered. We will not adopt out any animal until they have been spayed/neutered unless the animal is determined, by our veterinarian, unable to be spayed/neutered due to a medical condition or that it would be a danger to their well being.
