Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SPECIAL NEEDS
This adorable dobie boy is Shay, he was born 9/17/23. Shay was born with some neurological issues that make him a bit unsteady on his feet. We did DNA testing to rule out DINGS and DVDob and he tested negative for those and all other genetic conditions that Dobermans are susceptible to.The older and stronger he gets the more his balance is improving. But this does not stop Shay from being a typical doberman puppy. He loves to run and play. He is a good boy in his crate and is working on his house training.
Shay loves other dogs and curious about kitties. Super velcro with all the people he meets.
Shay will need a home that can understand his disability and love him because of it. We do not feel younger children will be best for Shay but older children should be fine.
Shay absolutely needs a home with a physically fenced in yard, no exceptions will be made.
He is ready to go home now but will be sent home on a neuter contract. This means he will need to be neutered at one of our rescue vets once he gets a little older. The rescue will cover the cost of the neuter.
We are looking for a family that will be close to the Louisville or Cincinnati areas only.
