Meet Bella!
I am currently in Bali on vacation and took in a young stray dog from Jimbaran. She is one of so many strays, but she latched on to us. Starving and in need of medical care, I asked our server at a restaurant on the beach where I found her if there was a vet clinic in the area and was directed to a 24 hour clinic called Kedonganan veterinary. They were so helpful.
Immediately they ran a number of tests and although she looked pretty desperate, luckily they were able to help. They cleaned her up and provided a number of meds and I brought Bella back to our villa, fed her and have started her meds. We had to move on to Ubud, but I couldn’t put Bella back on the street to suffer further, so I brought her to Ubud where she is now with us.
Unfortunately I cannot continue to take her with us since we are staying at hotels for the rest of our trip. I am reaching out to anyone that can offer help or advice as to what to do.
She is the sweetest, most appreciative soul. If you know anyone that can help me help Bella please message me. If you have any contacts for animal rescues, friends or experience in how to help Bella, I would greatly appreciate it. I would be willing to try to bring Bella back to Canada, but I am returning on January 8th. I know there are millions of animals in need and we can’t help them all, but if there is some way to help one, I am determined to try.

Take the Pet Home
As adopters of overseas dogs will be taking their dog home from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.
