Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617 Blue—12+ Kid by Kid, Dog by Dog
Peak is a lovely boy eager to get out of his kennel today. Once he knows you, he walks well on a leash and enjoys being handled. Peak has a bubbly and playful personality; he loves to chase and even engages in a bit of tug-of-war. He can sit and wait, although he may be slightly put off by objects he`s never seen. However, with a little introduction and investigation, he settles down quickly. He does not show any tendencies to resource guard; instead, he wags his tail, just waiting for you to interact with him. Peak greeted the dog well during the dog-to-dog greeting. He initially laid down, but when they were about three feet apart, he stood up and approached without any rude behavior, which was excellent. His play was appropriate, and he did well with the other dog. Peak struggles a bit with stranger greetings. He appeared nervous and was unsure of what a stranger wanted from him. He gave a couple of growls and barks to let the person know to hold still while he checked them out. After some sniffing and investigation, he settled and sat right before the person. Although he wasn’t ready for any pets, he was okay with the person observing and talking to him. He may need multiple greetings to warm up to new people, but he has excellent potential for loving companionship.
