Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome Jack made it to Colorado just in time for a second chance at life. This happy go lucky affectionate guy is so much fun! Not only is he wicked smart, walks well on the leash and is good with children, he’s a crash out on the couch and have a cuddle type too. Jack is a total yes man, car ride? Yes! Hike? Yes! Netflix and pets, yes please! Jack enjoys his multi dog foster home although he would be better suited to medium+ dog sizes for playmates. Jack is not going to let the shelter that he sat in for months rob him of his puppyhood. Jack is very much puppy like, he’s bouncy, playful, energetic and would need a large fenced yard and lots of toys to keep him happy and out of trouble. Jack is learning basic commands, has achieved crate and house training, but working on his excitement and happy expression. This good boy would thrive in an active household, that will continue to teach and love on him.
Jack is a 9-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed/neutered. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel-trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting an adoption event on December 30. Private adoption appointments will be available for the remainder of the year. Happy Holidays!*
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
