Hope is a 1 year old Catahoula mix with an immense love for everyone she meets. Her droopy lips and velvety coat give her such personality. She can sit and give paw on command. Uniquely, she will even give you her paw off command to show how much of a good girl she is. She is quick to please and her golden eyes will win you over everytime.
Hope loves to play with squeaky toys, balls and ropes. The energy and happiness she brings will light up a room. Hope has an adorable happy dance for when you've arrived back home or for a new visitor! She does great with other dogs but isn't much of a cat gal. She is well mannered on a leash, but is a bit spooked by passing cars or trucks.
A super family-oriented dog that is great with kids and enjoys their company and energy. Playing in the yard with kids or a dog friend is her favorite. She is 55lbs but loves to be babied. Hope can’t resist a snuggle or hug. Her all around sweet and loving nature make her a very special girl. She is looking for the perfect family to give all her loyalty and love to.

CRNE Adoption Application:

Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Hope’s adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
