Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Neapolitan, aka Polly. 11-month-old Catahoula mix goofball, love muffin, super hugger! She is one of many dogs that was saved from a cruelty case in the south. Despite living most of her life neglected and outside, she has the best personality and is such a good girl!
Likes: Balls, walks, plush and chew toys, leaning into you while you give her pets, TREATS, doggie friends with slow introductions
Building: gentle touches (she’s only 11 months old!), housetraining, slow eating, manners with strangers – dogs and humans
Superstar: sleeping the night and hanging out in a crate, getting her nails clipped, wearing a harness, sitting on command, being the best puppy!
She has her 1st birthday on 1/21/24 – won’t you take her home for her big day?!

Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue.
Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Polly's adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
