Butter Brickle is one of many dogs that were saved from a cruelty case in the South.
Despite being neglected, and left outside all of his life, this puppy is the sweetest, kindest boy ever.
It takes him a bit to warm up to strangers because of his past, but if there is another dog in the home it’s a reassurance that the human is ok.
He loves his chew toys, his bed and couch. Loves to sleep right next to his person.
Loves all dogs, loves to play tug with his housemates. Thrives with mental and physical exercise and is very smart.
He will be a cuddle bug and be very loyal to his people.
If you are interested in adopting Butter, please click at the link below: CRNE Adoption Application: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1rjvYvkyGRug-gnCPcHFB49ksrZlQNlYQddGnkoVvNNA/viewform?fbclid=IwAR1Z3LWcB1HW2pncs-N64t1xdlD6Fm9P137xk6MErsLOE4ObXQ9erCAk-nM&edit_requested=true
Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Butter's adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
