Brisbane is a wonderful guy that is affectionate, loves to be petted and sit in your lap and simply adores playing. Brisbane is a working breed and will need not only physically draining activities but something to do mentally. Toys that are challenging like Kongs or more advanced toys that hide treats and make the dog work are also a great idea. Sporting activities will also be fun to do with Brisbane like Frisbee, flyball, agility or any other fun game that you can get involved in. Brisbane is very attached to people and will follow them around very loyally. His is very smart and can sit but is not sure about shake a paw or down. He does like to jump to greet people but we are quickly showing him that he must keep all 4 paws on the ground. Brisbane will be a very active guy and is not for those looking for someone to just go for a stroll around the block, Brisbane will need a more vigorous activity like running, rollerblading or biking to ensure when he gets home he is tired which will make everyone happy. If you think Brisbane is the man of your dreams come and meet him today.

Want to Foster this great dog and give them a place to stay until they can find their forever home?
Foster Families are very important to WAS for many reasons:
* Sometimes we are 100% full and need help to open up space for the new dogs coming in.
*Some dogs are just not ready to be adopted. They may have some medical issues, behavioral problems or they may just need a break from Animal Services
*Foster families can spread the word and help get their pooch adopted sooner ! You can tell coworkers, friends and acquaintances, you can take them with you to sporting events, meet people on walks and more more place that they will get noticed.
*Foster families provide us with valuable information that we can pass on to the new adopters. We get terrific feedback ,which helps to find the right family for these guys and gals.
Come down to 1057 logan ave or call 311 to find out how.
