My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, folks! The name's Elvis, and I'm here to serenade you with my one-of-a-kind story. 🎶

Picture this: I started my journey as a streetwise pup, after being abandoned by my first family, but thanks to the awesome volunteers at Animal Aid Brigade, I got my big break! Now, I may be a little goofy and not the smoothest dancer on the block, but I'm a huge lovebug with a zest for adventure.

I presently call a kennel at the rescue house my home, which means I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to house manners, but I promise I'm a quick learner. When I'm not exploring the great outdoors, you can find me on the couch, binge-watching TV and cuddling up with my favorite humans. Yep, I've got a soft side too!

For the past year, I've been employed as an ambassador for the rescue group, making new arrivals feel right at home. But, life threw me a curveball with a health issue that temporarily left my hind legs a little wonky. Don't worry, though; I've got my groove back! My neurologist says I'm on the mend, but I do have a unique, slightly goofy gait that the volunteers here say adds to my charm.

Lately, though, I haven't been feeling the kennel life, so I'm on the hunt for a cozy retirement home. I'm a social butterfly with humans, and I'm good with most dogs, as long as they're not too bossy or food-obsessed. I wouldn't mind being the star of the show, but I can handle some doggy companions too. Now, here's the scoop: they say I've got a pretty strong “prey drive,” so cats and small, fluffy dogs aren't my cup of tea. But with the right family, I know I can shine like the rockstar I am!

If you're ready to welcome a big-hearted, slightly goofy, and incredibly lovable pup into your life, I'm your guy. Let's rock and roll together! 🐶🕺❤️
