Lola was surrendered to TC Paw when his owner moved and could not take him. His TC Paw foster says he is shy and cautious and has a fierce, affectionate spirit. Though he takes a long time to establish trust, when he does, Lola will seek you out for attention, look you right in the eye, and purr endlessly. He loves to play with toys. Lola is independent and not yet comfortable being picked up and held, but he likes to be brushed and hugged and to sit beside you while you pet him. Lately, he even cuddles up to his foster when she sleeps! Lola needs time and a peaceful, predictable environment. He is very alert and reacts to any new situation by hiding. A home with no other pets is best for him.
He was treated for an eye infection. After ruling out a few causes, the vet thinks it's a condition that will come and go his entire life, but that his vision is not at risk.
Lola's foster says, "This boy has been a joy to get to know." In time he shows his affectionate, loving nature.
