Levon talks so much in his sweet, chirpy, expressive voice that his foster family calls him Mr. Speaker. He was a stray, hanging around the Buckley gas station, when TC Paw rescued him. He may be shy at first and find a hidey spot, but he comes around, and soon you'll have a gentle-natured pet who purrs so hard that he squeaks when you sit with him and pet him, rub him all over, scratch his head, and let him lean up against you as he walks all around you and then settles in on your lap. He tolerates being picked up and carried, but doesn’t love it unless you’re taking him to where his food is. Levon seems afraid of someone coming toward him standing up. He retreats nervously. It’s not uncommon in cats who have known stray life. Several other cats, fosters and resident cats, live in Levon’s foster home, and while he gets along with them all, he seems intimidated by so many. For instance, if Levon is approaching an out-stretched hand, purring in anticipation of being touched, and another cat comes forward, Levon may back off bashfully. Levon’s foster family is eager for him to find a quiet, comfortable forever home where he won’t have to vie for attention. He’s an affectionate companion who'll make you feel loved.
