Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lola is a 5 year old Cane Corso Mastiff. Lola is an active, playful girl, who is still mourning the loss of her family. Lola was dropped off at a TX shelter by the family that bought her, raised her, and kept her for 5 years. Poor Lola doesn't understand why she was dumped. When her previous owner was asked why she dumped Lola, all she could say was that Lola was a very good dog, but she didn't like the protective nature. They obviously did not do appropriate research of the breed! Lola lived with several kids-young kids- though she would do best in a home with children over the age of 7 years. When she sees children, her tail immediately begins to wag. Lola does possess the typical, protective qualities of the Cane Corso. She quickly be-friends new people, however she always keeps an eye on her family. Lola enjoys brisk walks, chewing on her Bouncy Bone, and playing with the other Corsos in foster care. She is house trained and crate trained. She also has lived with a small dog in the past. If you think Lola sounds like the perfect match for your family, please fill out an application at www.canecorsorescue.org.
